EXPERIENCE

Mr. Korologos has over 34 years of real estate experience in real estate finance, lending, structured finance, credit risk, asset management, appraisal, underwriting and business development. He has been directly involved in almost $100B of commercial real estate transactions, with demonstrated ability to value, execute, structure and sell real estate finance products. Im addition he has developed deep relationships with investment and money center banks, insurance companies, private equity, sovereign wealth and opportunity funds, and has established a level of trust in the real estate community that gives him access to industry participants. Mr. Korologos has managed and mentored teams of professionals in executing complex projects, and with over 25 years of university level teaching experience, he is regularly asked to speak or provide thought leadership and participate on the boards and committees of several professional organizations including the Appraisal Institute, CREFC, and the Counselors of Real Estate. 

Mr. Korologos is a clinical Assistant Professor at New York University- Schack Institute of Real Estate School of Continuing Education and Professionals Studies. His vast experience includes that of a managing director at Berkeley Research Group, Situs, Inc, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services (FAS), Wachovia Securities, and Bear Stearns. In addition he has held high level positions at General Electric Capital Real Estate, Moody’s Investors Service and Equitable Real Estate Investment Management/Lend Lease.
