EXPERIENCE

 Mr. Stevens is a former PwC and EY partner who is engaged  by the nation’s leading law firms, SEC, DOJ, other regulatory agencies to investigate and report on departures from GAAP, GAAS and SEC matters, FCPA violations and perform special investigations for audit committees, including M&A strategy analysis and due diligence. Mr. Stevens has provided credible testimony in Federal and State Courts on a number of occasions throughout the country and the High Court of London.

By way of example, he has been engaged in matters arising out of and involving Fannie Mae, Fairfield Greenwich (Madoff), Enron, Halliburton, Lehman Brothers, Cendant, Global Crossing, Wells Fargo, among many others concerning alleged accounting and financial reporting errors and irregularities, auditor malpractice issues and FCPA violations plus related economic damages.

Mr. Stevens has a long history of working with management and boards of directors on strategies  from turnaround  to growth and sustainability  and providing interim CEO, COO or CFO duties.

Previously, he was the lead independent director at Chordiant Software and headed the Pain Therapeutics, Verity Software and La Cortez Energy Audit Committees.
